IMF: World Lost 4 Trillion Dollar
April 22nd, 2009 | by rarzi |The International Monetary Fund, on Tuesday (21 / 4) in Washington, estimates the loss due to global financial crisis. The number increased to more than four trillion U.S. dollars because of the increased credit problems in the U.S. banking sector housing.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimates the total cost of the economic crisis, triggered a crisis in the financial sector, a trillion 4054 U.S. dollars.
Loss is same as the nine-times gross domestic production (PDB) of Indonesia.
Total loss 4 trillion U.S. dollars included 2712 trillion U.S. dollars of losses suffered by U.S. banks. Losses suffered by European region is estimated to reach 1193 billion U.S. dollars. Losses in the Japanese reached 149 billion U.S. dollars.
